DESCRIPTION
The position of Head Chef is for the Diamonds Mequfi Beach resort in Mequfi, Mozambique.
The Head Chef is responsible for smooth running of Main Kitchen serving 3 restaurants and 2 bars and Staff Kitchen:

• Revising and adjusting menus;
  
• Providing personalised culinary experiences for the guests;
  
• Training and developing culinary team;
  
• Preparing and updating SOP’s, recipes and manuals;
  
• Controlling food cost;
  
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  

REQUIREMENTS

Head Chef is required to:

• Have knowledge and skills in a la carte: Asian and Continental cuisines;
  
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine / Head Chef in remote location;
  
• Knowledge of English is compulsory, Portuguese is an advantage;
  
• Creative mind, able to find new solutions in different situations benefit
