Tanzania League of the Blind is a registered non-governmental organization which was formed by persons with visual impairment in 1964 and was registered in 1972. The organization is committed to improve the quality of life of people with visual impairment in Tanzania through lobbying and advocacy; awareness raising; information sharing; facilitating access to education and vocational training; and economic empowerment.
Post 1: head of programmes and fundraising

TLB is looking for a competent and motivated head of programmes and fundraising person. This is a volunteer position whereby the incumbent will be reporting to the secretary general of the organization for day to day executions.

Head of programmes and fundraising must:
• Plan for the growth of the organization in collaboration with leaders,
• Lead the development of proposal write-ups,
• Develop annual and malt year projects and budgeting for the organization,
• Assist the project officers in producing high quality reports,

Qualifications and experience:
• Have at list experience of three years in fundraising strategies and programme management,
• Have bachelor degrees in project management or other related fields,
• Writing skills in generating partnership proposals and report to donors,
• Ability to prepare annual and malt-year plans, quarterly, annually and malt-year budget and budget forecast,
• High integrity and transparency in all aspects of management,
• Demonstrate computer skills in Ms. Excels, Ms. Word, Ms. PowerPoint & Ms. Access,
• Should have good command in written and spoken English and Swahili,
• Ability to volunteer and be ready to be called at any time with his/her management daily.
• Adhere to the regulations and policies of the organization
