Human Resource Officer II

Required qualifications and Experience
By selection through an interview to a candidate who has Degree/advanced Diploma majoring in human resource Management/Public Administration /law obtained from recognized institution. Possession of at least 3 years in relevant field with a reputable business organization is a necessary requirement.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensures that Authority Human resource records are correct an are kept up to date.
  • Ensures effective recruitment and selection placement an induction.
  • Conducts performance appraisal, training and development. Maintains industrial relation and employee relations affairs as per employment and labor relations Act (2004) and Labor institutions Act (2006)
  • Prepares staff development plans for staff retention scheme an other staff welfare matters.
  • Deals with resource services as may assigned by respective Head of sections such as acquisition, recording and compilation of personal particulars of recruited staff.
  • Works with heads of sections to prepare Human Resource planning and budget. prospective human resource demands and supply within a specified period of time.
  • Handles staff welfare matters such as medical services, staff loans and grants, sports and games, burial services and other service considered to be important staff.
  • Assist other line department in conducting staff performance appraisal.
  • In consultation with the head of accounts section. prepare detailed annual wage bill.
  • Prepares and costs the annual staff development and training programs
