dnata Zanzibar are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and qualified team member to join our Human Resources Team.

A successful Human Resources Assistant is responsible for ensuring transparency, accuracy and assuring full compliance with Employee Regulations. He/ She will provide support services to all departments within dnata Zanzibar by providing first line contact on all people related issues consistent with internal processes and requirements.

Responsibilities
• Helps conduct new employee orientations and benefit orientations
• Provides administrative support and general assistance to the Human Resources Departmental staff for all HR related programs and activities.
• Maintain an efficient and effective filing system for HR documents, including the management of staff files by ensuring that all staff documents are up to date.
• Maintain a confidential system for personnel records for all dnata Zanzibar employees in order to provide a comprehensive, efficient, accurate and current record of all matters pertinent to employment, transfer, tenure, retirement, leave, and promotion
• To assist with the administration for new employees, including liaising with relevant Line Manager to ensure full induction of new staff, issuing them with relevant starter information including staff and employments handbooks and ensuring all documentation is on their personnel file.
• To assist with administration of recruitment processes, including drafting and placing advertisements, dealing with telephone enquiries from prospective applicants, organising and scheduling interviews, including arranging lesson observations and tours.
• To assist with maintaining a recruitment spreadsheet of applications and prepare a file for shortlisting panel.
• Supports corporate recognition programs and employee engagement activities through the development, organization, and delivery of planned activities and associated events.
• Assist in the arrangements that need to be made for any maintenance related issues at any of the offices, properties leased or owned by dnata Zanzibar.
• Manage both HR and jobs email inboxes responding to queries and escalating to HR Administrators for further actions
• Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources department and serves as the primary contact with employees
• Undertake any additional task as maybe required.

Requirement
• 1 – 3 year of experience in HR/administration services.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must be self-motivated, creative and an analytical problem solver
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must have attention to detail
• Must have a professional demeanour and pro-active attitude
• Excellent driving skills
• Proficient in the use of spoken and written English language
