Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) with financial support from CDC/PEPFAR is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions: .
National Aids Control Program (NACP)
Job Title: Information Education and Communication Officer (1 Position)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Head Prevention Unit – NACP.
Duties and Responsibilities
: • Coordinate, guide and supervise implementation of Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) activities by working with different HIV and AIDS strategic areas and CDC funded partners on the implementation of SBCC on interventions especially for Key and Vulnerable Populations (KVPs), HIV Testing Services (HTS) and Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC)
• Provide technical expertise in the development of health sector SBCC and Comprehensive Condom Programming (CCP) strategies, guidelines and SOPs such as the National Communication Guide for Key and Vulnerable Populations (KVPs).
Experience and Qualifications
: • Degree in social science or any health-related disciplines
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
• Three years working experience in coordination of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) interventions.
• Strong communication including proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages and computer skills.
• Age limit: 50 years.

Terms of engagement: 7 months contract - renewable (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
