  Who we are:
The Tanzania Enabling Growth through Investment and Enterprise Program (ENGINE) is a four-year, USAID-funded Feed the Future activity that aims to streamline and enhance many of the regulatory, informational and financial channels that encourage domestic and foreign investment in the southern mainland agricultural regions of Mbeya, Morogoro, and Iringa, and in Zanzibar. Part of ENGINE’s approach to expanding access to information and financing for small and medium enterprise is the creation and maintenance of a digital platform, known as BizFundi.
BizFundi connects business development service providers and Tanzanian entrepreneurs to facilitate business services awareness, interaction, improve market linkages, networking and promote business growth. BizFundi consists of a web-based searchable database and a mobile application that replicates the functionality of the web platform.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a highly motivated web developer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. You will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers, local and international developers in web design and development features, among other duties..

Duties and responsibilities:
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Writing and testing application codes and providing feedback.
• Designing, developing and integrating APIs.
• Creating, scheduling and posting marketing Ads.
• Provide technical support to BizFundi users.
• Perform other design and development duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or any other related fields.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Familiar with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiar with server-side languages such as Java and PHP.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL.

Job Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with web design and development.
• Experience with API Integration.
