INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR
PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES

1. SOS Children’s Villages Zanzibar is a local non-government organization affiliated with SOS Children’s Villages International, a worldwide childcare and protection organization focused on ensuring that children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it grow up with the care, relationships, and support they need to become their strongest selves. Established 70 years ago, SOS Children’s Villages International currently operates in 135 countries around the world. SOS Children’s Villages has been working in Zanzibar since 1991, implementing its programs in both Unguja and Pemba.
2. SOS Children’s Villages is now inviting sealed Tenders from eligible security Service Providers to provide the service at SOS Children’s Villages Zanzibar.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering as stipulated in SOS Children’s Village Procurement Policy.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Admin & HR at SOS Children’s Villages Office located at SOS Street, Mombasa, Zanzibar from 31st October 2024 from 9:00hrs to 14:00hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language may be purchased by interested Tenderers upon submission of a written application to the email address: admin.zanzibar@sos-tanzania.org or physical address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings Fifty Thousand Only (50,000/=). Payment should be made direct to SOS Children’s Village Zanzibar through the following account: Tanzania Shillings (Tsh) Account No. 0400143001 PBZ Bank Mwanakwerekwe Branch. The bidder shall submit a Bank pay-in-slip as evidence of the deposited amount.
6. All Tenders in one original plus one copy properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered physically to SOS Children’s Villages office located at SOS Street, Mombasa-Zanzibar on or before 14:00hrs Tuesday 12th November 2024. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at the SOS Children’s Village Library Hall.
7. Late Tenders, portions of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
