Who are you?
• A highly-motivated laboratory technician with excellent attention to detail, who loves working with students and can assist on practical sessions up to form 4 level (NECTA Curriculum)
• You are able to prepare bench reagents, calibrate test equipment’s, estimate exam costs and manage inventory.
• You understand the importance of enforcing the laboratory safety by doing your due diligence and guiding well all students and teaching staff using the laboratory.
• A responsible and hard-working person who enjoys mentoring students projects and giving extra support on students who need more attention for their lab works
• Confident working with management software to order, budget and control laboratory stocks.
What we’re looking for
• A Tanzanian who holds a Diploma/Bachelor of Technology in Laboratory Sciences/Laboratory Technology. You must have graduated from an Accredited Higher Learning Institutions within East Africa with excellent academic performance records.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience from top performing secondary schools in Tanzania
• Strong ability to handle national examination procedures with high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as a medium of instruction.
• A well-rounded, independent and mature individual with a diverse knowledge in NECTA Curriculum. Your someone who observes laboratory ethics and demonstrates professionalism in your approach and standard of work.
• An individual who is able to adapt to our school’s diverse Policies and Procedures (including working over the weekends when required).
• Being able to prepare physics and chemistry practical’s up to advanced level will be an added advantage.
