The East African Development Bank (EADB) was established in 1967 with the remit to provide financial related support to its member states which currently are Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. The EADB has a country office in each of the member states.

JOB DETAILS:
The Legal Secretary shall provide shared administrative support and secretarial services to the Bank. In particular, he/she shall conduct a variety of research and analysis assignments, assist the legal team in preparing legal and/or administrative documents, and participate in reviews of legislation pertinent to the Bank.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• The successful candidate must have minimum of have at least ten (10) years’ working experience in a busy legal firm/financial institution.
  
• S/he should have a Bachelor’s Degree in secretarial studies from a recognized university. A Diploma in Law is an added advantage.
  
• The candidate should have proven experience in maintaining a law library, preparing and maintaining legal records, reports and correspondences related to legal work..
