JOB DETAILS:
Serve Tanzania (SETA) was established in 1999 and registered officially on the 15th February, 2002 with registration SO. No.11133. The main Core objective being to provide community services and help community in fighting against poverty through eradication of diseases, mitigation of effects of HIV/AIDS, care and support of people living with HIV/AIDS .
The Organization was initiated mainly to provide basic services of educating Tanzanian in various disciplines, such as Poverty alleviation strategies, environmental protection, fight against mitigation effects of HIV/AIDS, support to MVC’s and care for people living with HIV/AIDS.
SETA in collaboration with Donors and other stakeholders (Government and Non-Government sectors) have participated fully in serving the community in the aspect of HIV/AIDS throughout MbeyaDC
The organization is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position below .
Job Title : Linkage & Retention Officer
Location: Mbeya DC
Reporting to: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Contract: 1 year – Depend on the performance of employee
General Over view
This position is responsible for day to day leading and controlling Linkage of clients into friendly services and Retain clients into friendly services, also include tracing lost clients back to friendly services. Linkage and Retention Officer will serve as a point person for controlling and provide supervision to Peer educators and CBHSP, The Employee will make sure the performance (Linkage and Retention) of the organization goes well and adhere to the rule and regulation of the Government, Linkage and Retention Officer also is responsible for coaching and support to others staffs and Volunteers as well, She /he is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, laws and regulations requirement
Qualification
The Candidate must possess degree in Sociology, Social Work /Diploma in Nurse Midwife from reputable university or equivalent qualification from recognized Collage
Working experience and skills
• At least 1 years extensive and successful working in HIV/AIDS
• Must have an experience of working at the senior level with minimum supervision - Candidate must possess a high level of honesty, integrity, visionary leadership, team work spirit and volunteerism
• Ability to manage a high complex portfolio and deliver a wide range of objective within the time available
Responsibilities
• Managing day to day Retention and Linkage operation of the organization
• Preparation of Reports reports
• Working as representative of Organization in Health facilities
• Work as influencer for Linkage and retention among Volunteers –Peers /CBHSP
• Cooperate with HJFMRI, Government and other stake holder for HIV/AIDS issues
• Conduct performance review for all CBHS /Peers on Linkage and retention
• Provide help for staffs /volunteers in case it is needed
• Cooperate with other staffs for making sure the goal are fulfilled
• Provide coaching and mentorship
• And any other duties as may be assigned by Employer
