Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Magazine Keeper with experience in the distribution of underground explosives and related equipment within the mining industry to join their team in Tanzania.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure effective operations in the magazine area for the dispatch and receiving of products, detonators and raw materials.

· Ensure operations are carried out in compliance with national regulation for the transport of explosives by road and rail.

· Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards are adhered to.

· Ensure that the distribution schedule is adhered to.

· Overseeing machinery and equipment breakdowns and repairs.

· Training of subordinates.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Relevant qualification.
5 years previous experience as a Magazine Keeper within underground mining environments.
Experienced in providing training within distribution operations.
Experience with SAP.
Willing to travel as required.
Valid driver’s license.
Tanzanian nationals encouraged to apply.
