JOB DETAILS:
The Karanga Leather Industries Company Co. Ltd (KLICL) is established as a joint venture company limited between Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF) and Tanzania Prisons Service through its company known as Prisons Corporation Sole to undertake development and operate leather Industries in Karanga Area, Moshi Municipality.
The Karanga Leather Industries Company Limited (KLICL) intends to hire qualified, energetic, dynamic and proactive Tanzanians to fill the following position in the organization structure.
JOB POSITION: Manufacturing Services Manager (1 Position) .

Main Areas of Responsibilities
• Lead, develop and motivate his department team members to successfully achieve business objectives as well as ensure that appropriate materials handling procedures and methodologies are applied by the team in accordance with good materials management practices.
• Ensures effective operation of purchase contracts, imports and exports customs regulations, environmental storage of inventories, flow of documents to KLICL finance, Government customs department, is in line with Tanzania customs and tax regulations, company polices, sales objectives and guidelines, within operating constraints.
• Maintains strong integration with manufacturing to improve product costs, provide continuity of supply of raw materials and run ability of materials on equipment, in line with agreed sales and manufacturing plans.
• Maintains strong integration with the Finance function to ensure effective flow of documents to achieve accurate and timely payment of suppliers, accurate booking of costs, and effective reconciliation of expenditure and inventory levels.
• Manages technical changes to raw materials for new product introductions, product modifications, specification changes, manufacturing equipment or process modifications, etc.
• Ensures that all inventories are properly received, warehoused, protected and issued as and when required and that are effectively managed and accounted for through stock control systems and proper procedures and processes.
• To perform any other tasks given by the Supervisor

Qualification and Work Experience
• Holder of Bachelor Degree in Materials Management or Procurement and Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, from a recognized Higher Learning Institutions.
• Knowledge in manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• 7 years’ experience in planning, logistics, purchasing and inventory functions as well as General Management in a large manufacturing organization

Job Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Materials Management
