JOB DETAILS:
Job Opportunity: Media Monitoring Assistant

Responsibilities:
1. Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on various forms of media, including traditional and digital platforms
2. Analyze media content to identify key themes, sentiment, and emerging trends
3. Provide regular updates on competitor activities and industry trends
4. Work closely with public relations, marketing, and communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging and address any concerns arising from media coverage
5. Stay updated on the latest media monitoring tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
1. Fluent in English and Kiswahili Language (Experience with translation)
2. Bachelor Degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field
3. Microsoft Package proficiency
4. The ability to translate complex technical language and ideas into language easily comprehensible for external engagement
5. At least two years’ work experience with communication roles
6. Strong editing and proofreading skills
7. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all staff and other key partners
8. Photographic and video skills preferred
