KNCV is an international center of excellence for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in a national and international context. Our multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals covers a broad range of expertise such as programmatic TB control, research, clinical management, social science, education, digital health, and project management.
Over the past century KNCV has made a significant contribution to the successful fight against TB in the Netherlands, and since the 1970s, we have shared our knowledge and expertise with the rest of the world. We operate from a central office in The Hague, the Netherlands, a regional office in Central Asia and country offices in Africa and (central) Asia. KNCV raises funds from private, institutional, corporate and government donors.
IMPAACT4TB Project Latent tuberculosis (TB) infection (LTBI) is the seed bed for developing TB disease and continued transmission. WHO policy to give at least six months of isoniazid preventive therapy (IPT) to people living with HIV (PLWHIV) and child contacts has existed since 1993, yet the uptake of IPT in high burden countries remains poor. A short-course regimen of isoniazid and rifapentine weekly for three months (3HP) is now available for TB preventive therapy (TPT), 3HP is associated with less toxicity, better adherence and similar efficacy to PT and may be logistically easier for programmes to scale up. The IMPAACT4TB project is conducted by a consortium led by the Aurum Institute with core partners Clinton Health Access Initiative, Johns Hopkins University, KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation and the Global Drug Facility in 12 strategically selected countries that have a high burden of TB. KNCV is leading the implementation process in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi and Indonesia. : KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following full time positions:
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the IMPAACT4TB Project
Duty Station: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

As Monitoring & Evaluation Officer you will provide field technical support on monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management. You assist the Project Manager in the preparation of work plans/selection of indicators and annual implementation plans with a view towards meeting the M & E requirements of IMPAACT4TB, You collect, report and analyze information on the IMPAACT4TB country project activities and train supervise, and oversee entry of enhanced M & E data from the two sentinel sites, and ensure proper capture into the REDCap database. Further, you are responsible for project data and REDCap database management

Who are we looking for? You have a Bachelor's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Administration, Information Management or any other relevant academic background; Master's degree will be an added advantage. At least 4 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience, preferably with patient-based data, Hands on experience in TB surveillance and or study data collection is an advantage. Experience in a non-governmental or donor funded project is an added advantage.
