The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position below.

Position Title: Plumber
Grade: FSN-5

Basic Function of Position:
• Performs skilled plumbing installation, troubleshooting and repair work for 112 US Government Owned/Leased houses, Embassy and USAID.
• Operate water treatment plants, portable and wastewater and booster pumping stations at the Embassy.
• Performs skilled plumbing installation, troubleshooting and repair work for all US Government properties.

Education:
Completion of Secondary School (Form IV) is required. Completion of 2 years vocation training in plumbing is required.

Experience:
Three years plumbing experience in water distribution pumps and water treatment in industrialized and residential type plumbing is required.
