JOB DETAILS:

1. Purpose Of the job
To be in charge of all the production processes and ensures the production lines are effectively and smoothly running. Also to concentrate managing production plan, staffing, preparingproduction reports, innovating and creating new brand as well as coordination of the quality programs.
2. Duties and responsibilities
• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule in advanced way.
• Meeting the Company’s production target of 200,000 per month and 8,000 per day.
• Ensuring all equipment and machinery (filter, video jet, label, boiler and shrink) are in good working condition before starting production.
• Ensuring there is enough manpower for mission. If shortage of man power existsinform HR office.
• Ensuring that empty bottlers’ bags from blowing department is received and recorded based on daily production target.
• Ensure that Company resources such as water, empty bottles, caps, label, cap sleeves, shrink rolls, complimentary boxes, machines, electricity and manpower are used in a cost effective manner and there are recorded.
• Manage, develop and motivate shift workers by insight hard working and team work among them.
• Preparing daily and monthly report and sending it to the management accordingly.
• Setting quality standard and estimating timescale and cost.
• Monitoring production shifts and adjusting them accordingly
• Managing supervisor, organizing man power and ensuring production target are met
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Organizing and properly utilize the human and material resources needed.
• Working closely with supervisor and maintenance staff, set targets and making sure the finished product meet quality standard.
• Drafting a timescale for the job and monitoring the production processes as well as adjusting schedules as needed.
• Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment in collaboration with the plant engineer.
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmers also correct problem on production line.
• Ordering appropriate material for production consumption and ensuring its availability.
• Test machines for disappear and malfunctions with the help of plant engineer.
• Purchasing production equipment layout within the factory with the help of purchasing department.
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed by insisting the use of PPE i.e. wearing of uniforms and hats, shoes, gloves, etc.
• Delegation of duties and allocation of the available resources to ensure the company objectives are met.
• Managing safety and hygienic in all working areas and ensure safety in all plant operatives, safety of staff, clients within the working area. Ensure all staff are trained on health and safety matters.
• Ensure that security is in place and secure in term of organizing, managing and controlling.
• Managing and monitoring Injection and blowing department by making sure that there are enough pure pre-forms and enough good bottlers for production.
• Performing other duties as it will be assigned by management
N.B Should have more than five years’ experience in Beverage industry with Bachelor of Food Science
