Tanzania Development and AIDS Prevention Association (TADEPA) is a Tanzania non-governmental organization (NGO) with neutral offices in Kagera region was formed and registered in 1997 under the Trustees Incorporation Ordnance of 1956. TADEPA acquired a certificate of compliance of June 2005 under the new Tanzania NGO Act of 2002 and in 2009 TADEPA was mandated to work in Tanzania mainland.
The main purpose of TADEPA is to enhance development in totality and fight against HIV/AIDS and its integrated effects.

JOB LOCATION: Kahama- Shinyanga
REPORTING TO: Executive Director
DURATION: One year/Renewable

Job Summary
To establish and ensure well developed programme performance monitoring plan by facilitating of programme team in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in line with the Sauti project, timely submitting to the regional program Manager and SAUTI regional and central team, track the implementation of the approved work plan and ensure timely accomplishment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To establish, provide and to ensure that SAUTI Programme and team for Key Vulnerable Population (KVP) is well coordinated in to accomplish all the set targets and services in required levels.
  • To ensure the effective implementation of DREAMS Initiative interventions and their integration into the broader Sauti Program
  • Participate with other members of the organization to develop and carry out annual work plans under the Sauti Project
  • Work with the social welfare office, police and health facilities on individual case follow up and rehabilitation of victims of abuse and exploitation.
  • Participate effectively by leading training in all training of trainers’ workshops, including Management Committee training, and in other workshops, including mobile workshops.
  • Coordinate and Chair all staff meetings, Weekly, planning and other necessary SAUTI meetings
  • Ensure that all team, Programme and TADEPA Properties are well kept and maintained
  • Write timely (monthly, Quarterly and annual) reports and submit them to the regional program manager
  • Collaborate with Sauti SBCC, Biomedical and Structural team to prepare monthly route plan
  • Collaborate with all SAUTI staff to conduct capacity building sessions which are stipulated in the contract of this programme.
  • To prepare, design and look for appropriate training material as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Social works, Public Health, Public Relations, Rural Development or community developments and related degree program from recognized institutions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years should be at managerial level
  • Experience in managing health based project with focus on HIV/AIDS, FP, STIs and SRHE and other KVP Proven knowledge on AGYW and Gender based violence.
  • Proven skills on Gender and women focused rights and policies
  • Experienced in implementing project with focus on Key and Vulnerable Population(KVP) Ability to manage team and meet deadlines which are results based
  • Flexibility and ability to copy with multi-cultural/behavioral practices
  • Proven records of good relationship with co staff , facilitation, team building and coordination skills will be added advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
  • Readiness to work under pressure ,ability to work under minimum supervision and willingness to work overtime for project prosperity
  • Computer literacy is highly required ie word, excel, internet, power point
