Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) with financial support from CDC/PEPFAR is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions: .
National Aids Control Program (NACP)
Job Title: Program Officer HIV Testing Services (1 Position)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Head Prevention Unit - NACP
Duties and Responsibilities
: • Coordinate HIV Testing Service (HTS) by bringing new innovations to achieve new Global targets of 90-90-90 by 2020.
• Ensure sustainable, high quality and client focused HTS are implemented across all the regions,
• Review of HTS Implementing Partners reports and develop program quarterly reports for HTS.
• Ensure that all important tools for HTS are up to date and available in each of the testing point.
• Coordinate the processes of developing Guidelines, tools and training package for HTS.
• Design and coordinate the implementation of task-sharing policy.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate systematic scale up of Index Client testing.
Experience and Qualifications
: • Degree in Nursing or Health Laboratory related disciplines.
• Post graduate degree in Public Health is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal advocacy, mobilization sensitization and communication skills.
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
• Three years working experience in HTS.
• Strong communication including proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages and computer skills.
• Age limit: 50 years

Terms of engagement: 7 months contract - renewable (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
