  Community Environmental Management and Development Organization (CEMDO –Tanzania) under support of SAVE THE CHILDREN, funded by USAID is pleased to invite qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies in Lishe Endelevu project, that aims at improving nutrition outcomes for women of reproductive age, children under five, and adolescent girls, meaningfully advancing Tanzania along its journey to self-reliance in Morogoro region-Malinyi, Ulanga ,Kilosa, Gairo, Kilombero and Ifakara Councils)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project Name: Lishe Endelevu.
Project Period: 3 years and six months
Focus area: Nutrition
Place of duty: Morogoro region.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Project Coordinator responsibilities include preparation of comprehensive action plans including planning, resources, budgeting, timeframes, and coordinating for the successful implementation of the Lishe Endelevu projects. This will include coordinating various day-to-day activities such as administrative duties, project documentation, financial queries, event management and reporting to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

  Programme Implementation
• Provide leadership for timely and efficient project implementation within the organization
• Facilitate project planning sessions and create an enabling environment for implementation
• Facilitate and support project documentation of both process and outcome implementation. Conduct and support project information dissemination using abstracts in conferences and related platforms. Facilitate and develop functional stakeholder partnerships and guide their performance, outcomes and outputs
• Working collaboratively with different implementation teams ensuring project oversight
• To ensure that the Lishe Endelevu Project team are familiar with project approach and effective management of their respective project/activity component contracts and requirements
• Ensure that all technical officers and other Lishe Endelevu project staff are conversant with CEMDO/Save the Children financial, administrative and logistical systems, and apply them properly.
Managerial oversight of Lishe Endelevu contracts
• Ensure project quality of Lishe Endelevu, including quality of donor reporting and contribution to new project/program design process through documented learning and innovation
• Receive and review Technical Project /narrative and financial reports, ensure proper finalization in a timely manner, and submit final versions to Save the Children regional Team/CEMDO Program Director for approval and verification.
• Support the development of new funding opportunities occasionally in other CEMDO Key areas programs and accordingly participating in proposal designs as necessary
Strategic Leadership
• Take lead supportive role in the development and implementation of CEMDO impact program/project strategy incorporating key elements of the Lishe Endelevu project relevant National Strategies and CEMDO Strategic Plans,
• Lead the supportive process of new project/program design, including the preparation of concept notes and proposals to strengthen PAPR program’s sustainability and impact
• Support building capacities of CEMDO staff, especially in planning and conducting underlying causes of poverty, Malnutrition and vulnerability analysis to strengthen Lishe Endelevu project design and quality;
• Promote a learning environment within the team that facilitates two-way learning with various stakeholders.
• Promote forward accountability to the Lishe Endelevu Project/program and ensure their participation in program quality and impact evaluations.
Staff Management and Administration
• Direct line management of CEMDO Project Officers for Lishe Endelevu project/Program to Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
• Ensure the proper implementation of CEMDO's performance management system for direct
• reports and proactively address performance issues through regular and constructive feedback and coaching/mentoring;
• Ensure that the reporting is professional and timely, including review of financial and narrative reports before submission to donors;
• Foster an environment of shared leadership and accountability and create the Field Office
• Leadership Team as advised by the country office.
• Represent CEMDO in important meetings, workshops/conferences and debates in programming areas other areas.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, in development studies, Public health, project management, Rural Development, Agriculture, Nutrition or relevant fields (Master’s degree will be an added advantage)
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in similar position preferably in NGO.
• Experience/skills in projects’ management ,Administrative and reporting;
• Experience with Child Rights or health based programming is an advantage
• Knowledge of and experience in project cycle management, including the use of Theory of Change and other planning tools
• Excellent communication capabilities;
• Computer literacy;
• Proficient in English and Kiswahili language.
• Strong commitment of work.
• Flexibility, availability to perform other duties;
