JOB DETAILS:
Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Project HSE Manager to work in their facilities located in Dar El Salaam, Tanzania.
Role and Responsibilities.
• Embedding and deploying the aims of the client and Project HSSE Policies into the Project, within the requirements specified in the contract.
• Embedding technical safety, health, environmental, security, design, constructability reviews required by the regulations, and standards into relevant project activity and to verify that safety issues are fully addressed.
• Liaise with Risk Management to understand risks associated with the project, with a view to developing controls to mitigate against risk items
• Oversee the development of the Project Execution Plan - HSSE (To align with Project requirements) and associated documentation in consultation with project stakeholders and ensure that the documentation provides the minimum HSSE standards that the Project must meet.
• Oversee the development of the HSE Assessment and Loss Prevention Inspection Plan
• Review all project documentation (as per the document distribution matrix) to ensure adequate coverage of HSSE considerations.
• Liaise with Project R3 and ensure cross functional engagement.
• Accountable for the project HSSE performance reporting (in accordance with project and Worley corporate requirements) and report HSSE performance to the Project Management Team and Assurance Manager
• Participate in project start up work (Good to Go & Kickoff Process) and ensure EPC contractors are clear on HSSE sections of the customer HSSE standards of work whilst ensuring responsibilities, objectives and targets are agreed and understood by all stakeholders.
• Facilitate implementation of HSE element of the Project processes, utilize HSE tools to assess risk and improve effectiveness of the HSE element of the project systems in place; including regular Observations (SAZ), H3SE talks, training sessions, promotion of safe work practices and ensuring interest & awareness of HSE&S is maintained at all levels of the project organization.
• Develop and implement HSE awareness campaigns including the Project Zero Harm safety culture.
• Engage with EPC leadership to sponsor and support HSE across the portfolio
