2.0 Lake Tanganyika Program
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a global conservation organization which works in over 60 countries worldwide (7 countries in Africa) to protect Nature (lands, rivers, lakes, and oceans) and Improve people's livelihood. TNC's Lake Tanganyika Program, collaborates with the Government of Tanzania, DRC, Burundi, and Zambia to support fisheries co-management and strengthen community-based protection of fisheries resources around Lake Tanganyika.

We travel and reach fisher communities at "difficulty to reach areas to build and strengthen their capacities and link them with relevant policy and guidelines that helps communities to set up strong Co-Management Institution Structure (BMUs) In collaboration with Government, community, and ot d others stakeholders. The vehicle request in this tender will be based in Nkasi- Rukwa (western Tanzania) and operate around the terrains of Lake Tanganyika basin.
