JOB DETAILS:
The Company
E.A.L.S Limited is an incorporated company in Tanzania and operates in Tanzania with its head office in Dar es salaam. The primary objective of the company is to provide Logistics integration services to Tanzania Petroleum subsector including oil & gas projects on an end-to-end basis.

The Position: RECEIVING RIGGER - ESCORT (UNLASHING) (Fixed Term Contract)

Position Objective
• Coordinate trucks movement within TIS (The Thermal Insultation System) Plant from the parking area to the offloading BAY

Key Responsibilities
▪ Receive trucks related to the project activities,
▪ Ensure trucks and cargo loaded upon arrival at the TIS plant are thoroughly inspected
▪ Coordinate with the TIS contractor the dispatch of trucks to the offloading bay while adhering to the FIFO (First In First Out) rule.
▪ Escort drivers in the parking lot and to the offloading area
▪ Assist drivers with cargo unlashing.
▪ Participating in cargo inspection prior to offloading and co-signing cargo inspection reports with the TIS contractor
▪ Prepare and co-sign proof of delivery document
▪ Report to the management any issues involving TIS Operations
▪ Ensure all operations are conducted according to the project QHSE requirements
▪ Participate to all safety training as required
▪ Adhere to all HSE requirements of the project
▪ Any other duties as assigned by Management

Education
▪ Minimum Ordinary Level Secondary education with license to operate lifting equipment
▪ Diploma in Logistics Management or similar field

Professional Qualification
• Rigging & Lashing certification from recognised training company such as NSL Aberdeen, LLOYDS, Main port.

Experience
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in handling, transporting (escorting) and positioning project cargo including lifts (power transformers, shunt reactors, Gensets) compulsory
