- quality, comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and treatment to HIV
- exposed and -infected children and adolescents in the Lake and Southern Highlands Zones of Tanzania through service delivery, training and research. Baylor-Tanzania is part of the Baylor College of Medicine international Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI) Clinical centers of Excellence Network. which is headquartered at Texas Children's Hospital, Houston. Texas, USA. Through collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Health. Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children. Baylor-Tanzania is looking for highly motivated, well-qualified individuals to join its growing program team under USAID
- Mtoto Bomba Program. Baylor -Tanzania hereby invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following positions.
Post: Regional Program Officers (2 Southern Highlands and 2 Lake Zone)
Location: Southern Highlands and Lake Zone
Position summary '
Regional Program Officers report to the Zonal Program Managers and serve as liaison between CDEs, Regions and Scale Up districts. They advise field division management and request clinical specialists based on facility needs. They also represent Baylor-Tanzania by serving on Regional Health Management Committees and Council Health Management Team (RHMT/CHMT) and identifying activities for partnerships and appropriate commitment of resources Work in collaboration with the Councils to review program performance, contributing to the documentation and dissemination of best practices and lessons learnt They will coordinate quarterly data collection and analysis at site, council and regional level, and produce a variety of documents like success stories; abstracts, data summaries and workshop reports
