EMI deals with general management consultancy, recruitment services, business planning services and short course training facilitation in various areas.
Main Purpose of Position:
Sales consultants work closely with customers throughout the sales process. They foster a successful relationship endearing the customer to their business. These consultants handle any enquires produced by the client, investigate the issue and provide the necessary feedback. They work hard to network and negotiate with potential clients about their orders, generating revenue for the company.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Represent the company at trade shows, and industry groups.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Make daily customer visits. Follow-up on customer quotations. Perform basic relationship building on a daily basis.
  • Provide feedback reports to the company regarding customer contacts. Collect as much information regarding the sales process from clients.
  • Assist the company in planning, forecasting, and management of the sales of its services.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Required Knowledge:

  • Communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Ownership and knowledge of using Smartphone, laptop or desktop computer, ability to use customer software
  • Build strong relationships with customers; understanding their business needs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both written and oral methods such as email, phone calls, trade shows, etc.
  • Make consistently good scheduling decisions about visiting customers throughout the regional. Make efficient use of time and resources.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
    o Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Education qualification:
diploma in marketing/sales, business administration or any other related qualification.
