Invitation for Tenders
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the Good Neighbors Tanzania procurement policy and the prequalification process prepared by Bahi District Council for the implementation of this project.
2. The Good Neighbors Tanzania has a plan to renovation of seven (7) classes and toilet blocks at Mkakatika primary school in Mkakatika village at Bahi district council, Dodoma Tanzaniaand it intends to implement the plan by hiring a qualified contractor according to its internal policy and secured budget for this project.
3. The Good Neighbors Tanzania now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tanzanian contractors registered in VII and aboveto renovation of seven (7) classes and toilet blocks at Mkakatika primary school in Mkakatika village at Bahi district council, Dodoma Tanzania.
4. Tendering will be conducted through pre-qualification. The Procuring Entity will send to each prequalified firm the request for proposals (RFP) for the project and will be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for the RFP and the procurement documents. The tendering process will be guided by Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Good Neighbors Tanzania, Head Office Dar es Salaam - Boko Chama, Bagamoyo Road. PO BOX 33104, Dar es Salaam from 08:30 am to 13:00 pmon Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000 Payment should either be by Cash, Banker's Draft, or Banker's Cheque, payable to Good Neighbors Tanzania, Dodoma Area Office.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Good Neighbors Tanzania, Head Office Dar es Salaam - Boko Chama, Bagamoyo Road. PO BOX 33104, before 4th July 2022, at 09:30 am Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers' representatives who choose to attend the opening on the 4th July 2022 at Good Neighbors Tanzania, Head Office Dar es Salaam - Boko Chama, Bagamoyo Road. PO BOX 33104, Dar es Salaam at 10:00 am.
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
