REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
Eol No. 83466852 Renovations in 16 health facilities, Tanga, Tanzania
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is currently implementing its project Improving Health Care in Tanzania II (IHCP2) as part of the support of the German Development Cooperation in the health sector in Tanzania.
The project supports the Ministry of Health and President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government to improve neonatal care unit (NCU)and adolescent and youth friendly services (AYFS) in Tanga Region. As part of this work the project intends to award a contract involving renovations of existing health facilities.

The tender procedure from invitation to tender until signing of contract is expected to take place between 01.07.2024 and 15.08.2024. The renovation work is expected to be performed and completed approximately within 6 months from signing of contract.
The following information and documents for eligibility assessment are required to be submitted by the interested companies to qualify for consideration in the tender procedure:
• Official letter expressing interest.
• Company details including full company name, full address, phone, and email.
• Copy of Tax Identification Number(TIN)from Tanzania Revenue Authority.
• Copy of Certificate of incorporation or registration from Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA).
• Copy of Certificate of registration Contractors Registration Board (CRB)
• Company profile including number of employees (permanent / temporary in total) and number of professional staff qualified to perform the works, each for the last five (5) years.
• References of works of similar nature as specified above (performed within the last five (5)years)
• Total value of works of similar nature as specified above (for each of the last five (5) years)
• Annual total turnover for each of the last three (3) years
The information and documents specified above shall be submitted to GIZ in PDF format on/ before 23.06.2024 to the following email address: tz_procurement@giz.de
The subject line must be clearly marked as follows:
“83466852-Eol for renovation work in Tanga Region”
Please do not send technical or price offer or other documents not requested. Kindly note that complete tender documents will be sent to all companies that will be assessed as eligible by GIZ based on the information and documents submitted as specified above.
