The Fair Competition Commission is an independent Government Soddy established under the Fair Competition Act, 2003 (No. 8 of 2003) to promote and protect effective competition in trade and commerce and to protect consumer from unfair and misleading market conduct. "The ultimate goal of the Act is to increase efficiency in the production, distribution and supply of goods and services. The Fair Competition Commission {FCC} new invites Public Servants whose salaries are gained through Human Capital Management information System (HCMIS}
- ‘Lawson’ and wish to TRANSFER their employment service to FCC to submit their applications to fill the posts identified below:

SENIOR PLANNING OFFICER I- FCC/SPO I/01/2018 1 Post

Reports to: Head of Planning

Direct entry qualifications

• Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration or any relevant field from any recognized university.
• Working experience of at least five years in relevant field.
• Possession of computer: knowledge is an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing Strategic, Annual Plans and Annual Reports of the Commission;
• Coordinating the annual programming and budgeting process and liaise with other departments and the Ministry;
• Carrying out Monitoring and Evaluation processes and advice the head of Department accordingly
• Coordinating the preparation of monthly, quarterly, mid-year and annual review reports for the Commission and the Ministry;
• Concelleneting Project formulations, funding arrangements and reporting;
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
• Salary Scale FCCGSS 9
