Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Sterilization Technician located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Sterilization Technician will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and infection control of equipment, instruments, and supplies in the operating room. The Sterilization Technician will also use medical terminology to document and track sterilization processes.

Qualifications
• Experience in decontamination, sterilization, and infection control procedures
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to operate and maintain sterilization equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in sterilization and sterile processing is a plus

Level of Education: Associate Degree
