Qualifications
Proven track record of at least five (5) years in a senior support role, such as Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant to CEO/MD, or equivalent, providing strategic guidance to senior management in a reputable organization, with demonstrated expertise in advising senior leaders, leading or executing large-scale projects from inception to implementation and growth, and managing transitions to drive results-oriented outcomes.

Other important areas;

Job role
Enhance CEO Effectiveness
Proactively look for ways to improve and elevate CEO effectiveness. Potential areas of work include
• Help the CEO identify top priorities, strategically align his time with those, and revisit them regularly to assess progress.
• Support CEO in culture builder role with initiatives that drive culture leadership and modeling
• Improving speed and quality of CEO decision-making.
• Build tools, frameworks, and resources that bring the CEO’s thinking to life within the organization.
• Ensure the CEO has the information he needs when brought into different decision-making processes.
• Ensure CEO initiatives get executed to completion by effectively managing schedules and follow-ups.

Strategic Planning and Execution
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and refine the company’s overall strategic vision and long-term goals.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with the CEO on strategic initiatives, conducting research, and providing insights.
• Assist in the development and execution of the CEO’s strategic vision.
• Identify challenges and propose proactive solutions for decision-making.
• Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Establish project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure the timely delivery of objectives.
• Monitor progress, resolve obstacles, and escalate issues as needed to keep initiatives on track.
• Assist in the development and execution of the CEO’s strategic vision.
• Identify challenges and propose proactive solutions for decision-making.
• Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational goals.
Business Analysis and Risk Management
• Conduct comprehensive business analyses to assess the financial and operational impact of strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate potential growth opportunities, including market expansion, product diversification, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support resource allocation, investments, and risk management decision-making.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact the company’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives.
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and ensure business continuity.
• Proactively monitor external factors and market conditions to anticipate and adapt to changes in the business environment.
Performance Management:
• Support in implementing the company’s performance management system, using a Balanced Scorecard, at all levels of management and leadership.
• Support the execution and improvement of the current operating cadence, including organization and division level Scorecards setting and periodic review, strategic planning, management meetings, executive committee meetings, and experimenting with new structures to improve org-wide management.
• Ensuring all Managers can track and report their performance and those of their teams timely
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the company’s progress towards its strategic goals.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and drive business growth.
• Monitor and analyze business performance across various departments and functions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against goals.
• Identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for improvement.
• Developing and implementing performance metrics and dashboards to track progress.
• Facilitating and leading meetings and workshops to drive strategy and performance discussions.
• Developing and managing budgets and resources to support strategic initiatives.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and applying knowledge to continuously improve strategies and performance.
Meeting Coordination and Support:
• Collaborating with Personal Assistant to the CEO in preparing meeting agendas, documents, and presentations for the CEO.
• Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and distribute them promptly.
• Follow up on action items and track progress on behalf of the CEO
• Leadership team operating rhythm and cohesion
Communication, Correspondence, and Relationship Management:
• Ensure the core aspects of our strategic plan are communicated consistently and reinforced to the organization.
• Work with the senior leadership team to drive strategic implementation in their units.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the CEO, including email, phone calls, and written correspondence.
• Draft, review, and proofread various documents, presentations, reports, and memos.
• Draft, review, and proofread all contracts as assigned by the CEO or Senior Member of the Organization
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Ensure effective communication flow between the CEO or Senior Member and across departments
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, board members, executives, clients, and partners.
• Facilitating effective communication to build a strong professional network on behalf of the CEO
• Liaise between the CEO and various departments, providing necessary information and facilitating effective communication.
Managing Project and Key Initiatives
The SEC will drive key CEO-led initiatives that contribute to organizational growth and development. Example initiatives include
• Implementation of new product lines to foster company growth
• Technology developments and adoption in various levels of the organization, with a strong focus on Customers, Farmers and data unification
• Assist the CEO in various special projects and initiatives, including research, data analysis, and preparation of reports.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
Confidentiality Management
• Handle highly sensitive information with utmost discretion for Senior Management or CEO.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.
Decision Support:
• Identify challenges and propose proactive solutions for the CEO to make decisions.
• Anticipating potential issues and implementing preventive measures by providing relevant information and support to the CEO in making decisions.
• Collaborating with other team members to overcome obstacles and any change that a company will be facing
