Supply of Building Materials for Boundary Demarcation in Five Wildlife
Management Area(WMA)-Ruvuma Region
Introduction
WWF TCO is implementing a project titled “Selous Ecosystem Conservation and Development (SECAD) in the Ruvuma
Landscape. The project is focusing on the buffer zone and particularly on the five WMAs in the Selous Niassa Wildlife Corridor
(SNWC) with the objective of contributing to the effective conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, rural
development in Tunduru and Namtumbo districts, and ensuring that Selous Game Reserve and Nyerere National Park, the
globally significant ecosystems, remain intact.
The SECAD project has set aside the fund to support the installation of permanent demarcation signs and beacons to the
verified key areas particularly those with high conflicts around the WMAs in Tunduru and Namtumbo districts.
WWF TCO is now inviting applications from competent, qualified, reputable, reliable and experienced local service providers
preferably wholesalers and distributors of hardware materials(building materials) who are willing to submit their tender to
supply as per the tender category.
The detailed scope of the works for this tender is as indicated in the tender document which is mainly involves the supply,
transport, loading, and offloading of building materials to the specified sites in all five WMAs.
