SIMBA SPORTS CLUB COMPANY LIMITED (Simba) is a company responsible for the management and running of the 83-year-old club, Simba Sports Club, which was founded in 1936 and is a registered member of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF). Simba's mission is to promote, advance, foster and cultivate the game of football in Tanzania while developing top-level football players to be able to compete at the highest level nationally, regionally and continently. With the ongoing rapid transformation that the Club is undertaking, we intended to create an efficient and vibrant commercial entity that will contribute very positively to the development of the football club industry in Tanzania In light of the above, Simba is seeking applications from competent, dynarnic and self-motivated individuals (local or foreign) to fill up the following positions:
Technical Director
Summary:
The Technical Director acts as an intermediary between the technical bench and the board, essentially relieving pressure on a manager by handling aspects away from day-to-day coaching, allowing a manager to focus on sporting performance..
Responsibilities;
• Responsible for and the overseeing of the academy which includes salty, players and facilities
• Oversee first team training ground, infrastructure, medical staff, physiotherapy, conditioning, fitness, nutrition, hydration, rest, wellbeing and behavioral standards within the club
• Develop budget/salary structure including match-win bonuses given to football coach, staff and players. Within the budget the TD is responsible for organizing annual recruiting funds and negotiating contracts of new existing players and staff

Requirements:
• Professional coaching course of higher level :
• 5+ years of proven experience as TD or relevant role
• Knowledge of professional sports team logistics, event and tour operations required
• Strong understanding of financial and budgetary management
• Strong work ethic and solution orientated
• Proven experience at leading sport team and working cross functionally
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a number of key internal and external personnel
• Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, decision-making and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with Tanzania Football League Rules and Regulations
• Familiarity with CAF and FIFA Rules
• Experience in working with MultiCultural groups
• Track record of sports management background
