JOB DETAILS:
Gairo Water Supply and sanitation Authority (Gairo WSSA) is a utility under category C which is responsible for the overall operation and management of water supply and sanitation services within the urban area of Gairo Township which is the headquarter of Gairo district. The authority was established and gazetted on 17/12/2003 by then Ministry Of Water And Livestock Development, The authority became operational in August, 2004. Hereby Gairo WSSA invites applications to the applicants with suitable qualifications to apply positions of the following posts. Technician Ii Electrical .

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
• To carry out inspection, repair and maintenance of electrical appliances according to safety standards.
• To upkeep working tools, measuring instruments and equipment in a safe and clean environment.
• To open and maintain job card for electrical works/appliances
• To install, repair and maintain electrical installation systems, Electrical appliances, generators, transformers, Pumps and other electrical
• appliances.
• To diagnose the cause of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• To develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings and engineering
• specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion, and
• directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties
• To perform periodic electrical testing to equipment, and recommends or
• initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, skills and Abilities): Holder of a Diploma/FTC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and Must be Computer literate and fluent in English and Swahili.
