JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to plan layout and welding procedures.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements.
• Set up components for welding, ensuring precision in cutting and shaping materials as per specifications.
• Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare parts for welding.
• Align components accurately using measuring tools such as calipers and rulers and securely clamp pieces.
• Conduct repairs on machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps as required.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct defects or imperfections.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure work environment.
• Maintain welding equipment in good working condition, performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.

Requirements:
• A diploma or equivalent is required, with a certification in welding is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welding technician, preferably in CNG-related applications.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Familiarity with different metals, welding tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
