JOB DETAILS:
Waiter / Waitress
We are looking for experienced waiter & waitress to work in our luxury lodge in Serengeti

Duties and Responsibility
– Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
– Greet guests with smile and show their tables
– Ensure you are neatly dressed and wearing a badge / name tag
– Present menu and provide details information when asked (eg. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
– Inform guests about the days specials
– Up sell additional products when appropriate
– offer menu recommendations upon request
– Take accurate food and drinks orders using a notepad and pen
– Ensure guests meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcohol beverage
– Effectively communicate with kitchen staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly
– Serve food and drink orders
– Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
– Follow all relevant health department regulation
– Provide best customer service to guests

Qualification
– At least 3 years of experience working in similar position in well-established restaurant or hotel
– Excellent customer service and an ability to build strong relationship
– Excellent communication skills required
– Computer knowledge required, word, excel
– HOnest, patient, flexible, creative, fast thinking and decision making
– Ability to work independently and report on time and correctly
