Job Description
Responsibilities
• Assisting the line manager in all aspects of the store management process.
• Knowledge of basics of stores process like receiving, issues, inventory process, storage & handling.
• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Keeping the parts as per 7S storage for higher efficiency.
• Check & verify of PO available against invoice received from supplier.
• Receiving & balancing of invoice after unpacking & verification as per invoice qty.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to [insert weight] pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments. Receiving of requisition, picking, packing & dispatch of lines on daily basis against sales order received.
• Performance criteria to be mapped & monitored for everyone.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse workers.
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular training sessions and provide ongoing coaching to team members.
Inventory Management:
• Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and proper storage practices.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records.
Order Fulfilments:
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders and meet customer demands.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods.
Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Operational Efficiency:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse performance.
• Manage equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
Customer Service:
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to warehouse operations.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining efficient and accurate service.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a warehouse lead or similar supervisory role.
• 3+ years of proven work experience in stores operations.
