JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for Maintenance and repair of all Boiler machines.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Boiler maintenance during steam stops and off crops.
• Operate the boiler as per set standards and procedure.
• Monitoring and controlling all boiler performance parameters.
• Controlling steam pressure and steam flow.
• Ensure Safety of people and boiler.
• Ensure the working place is clean and free from any hazards.
• Ensure that all problems are reported immediately to the relevant authorities.
• Effective communication.
• Ensure boiler physical checkup is done by using the check list.
• Ensure that all running parameters recorded and logged by checking and countersigning.

Job Requirements:
• Full Technician Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Form IV/VI certificate accompanied by sound Grade I in Fitter Mechanics from a recognized Institution or Level III Fitter Mechanics from VETA.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Factory environment.
• Honest, Obedient, ready to work long hours under pressure and attentive to details.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Factory environment.
• Computer literate.
• Mentally and physically fit.
• Knowledge of boiler water quality and treatment is an added advantage.

Terms Of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on Fixed Term Contract.
