Pre-qualification of suppliers tender at  Bugando Medical Centre

The Bugando Medical Centre has set aside funds towards the cost of the supply of different goods, equipment, maintenance, and services. It intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund towards the payments under the following tenders:

The Bugando Medical Centre intends to pre-qualify suppliers and/or firms for the listed tenders above. It is expected that invitations will be issued during the 2025-2027 financial years. Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in Regulation 114 of the Public Procurement Regulations – Government Notice 518 of 2024, and it is open to all Applicants as defined in the Regulations.

Interested applicants may obtain further information and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the Secretary of BMC Tender Board, H4 Block, P.O. Box 1370, Mwanza, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm local time on Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants upon submission of a written application to the address given above, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Tanzanian Shillings (TSH 100,000/=). Payment should be made via cash deposit into BMC Health Service Fund account at CRDB Bank, and the original pay slip should be presented.

All applications (one original plus one copy), properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes, should be addressed with the name of the tender, address, time, and the phrase “DO NOT OPEN BEFORE” mentioned with the deadline time as indicated in the pre-qualification documents. These applications must be delivered to the address of the Secretary of the BMC Tender Board, H4 Block, P.O. Box 1370, Mwanza, no later than 10:00 am local time.

Applications will be opened promptly thereafter in public, in the presence of Applicants’ representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Oncology Conference Hall. Late applications, portions of applications, electronic applications, applications not received, or those not opened in public will not be accepted for evaluation, irrespective of their circumstances.
