About this Job:
• Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
• On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced heavy Duty Truck Driver.

Descriptions.
• Ensuring regular truck maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring timely delivery of consignment in safe and good condition, maintaining proper discipline in and outside the plant as well as helping in making our clients comfortable and increase clients’ satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and customer service.
• Performing inspection, servicing, and periodic maintenance of the truck.
• Ensure timely delivery of consignment in safer and good condition to the required destination.
• Guarantee that the company assets i.e. the truck, truck accessories and items and consignment are protected and secured all the time.
• Ensuring not involve by anyway in illegal haulage and tampering by any form VTU/IVMS devices.
• Ensuring paper works full adhered and completed before dispatch.
• Ensuring the Company asset/truck kept perfect and clean all times.
• Adhere and comply with journey management plan.
• Keep the Company truck logbook with its associated records in neat and good manner.
• Complying with company and national laws, policy, and regulations.
• Complying with statutory safety regulations and Company safety standards.
• Reporting all on transit and/or in plant related incidences to Helpdesk unit as well as ensuring frequent communication and reporting to relevant personnel.
• Answering the staffs as well as all company stakeholders in brilliant and professional manner.
• Adhere and comply that truck operations entails return logistics.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Oral and written communication skills (Knowing to write & read).
• Competent in driving heavy duty trucks.
• At least five (5) years of professional driving experience.
• Discipline and ready to adhere with Company operations and safety standards

• He/she should age between 25 years to 60 years.
• He/she must be focused, confident and observant.
• Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• He/she should be a conscious person.
• He/she must have a clean driving record.
• He/she must have a clearance report from police of good ethics and conduct.
• He/she must have capacity her/his obligation in a profession manner.
• He /she must have knowledge of highway codes and defensive driving.
• He/she must have a verifiable guarantor.
• Ability to work in a faced-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
