JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide animal health services.
• To conduct an examination of livestock diseases in his work area in accordance with the law.
• To prepare and manage plans to prevent, control and eradicate livestock diseases in his area.
• Managing the rights of animals.
• To participate in the investigation of wild animal diseases in his area.
• To manage and coordinate the observance of Disease Rules and Laws, inspection of livestock and their products and livestock inputs.
• Coordinating and managing slaughterhouse hygiene and meat inspection activities in his work area.
• To prepare information on the health of livestock in his work area and
• To do any other work in his field that he will be assigned by his head of work.

Qualification and Experience
• Employed with a first degree in Veterinary Medicine from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) or from another University recognized by the Government who are registered with the Tanzania Veterinary Council.
