The Medical Officer of the Songwe Regional Referral Hospital, likes to announce job opportunities, all Tanzanians with the required qualifications and with sincere desire to work in the Songwe Regional Referral Hospital for The contract for a period of one year in the relevant position is as follows: -

1.0 CLASS II DOCTOR (12 POSITIONS)

1.1 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT:
Applicants must have graduated form four (iv) or form six (vi) with a Bachelor's degree Doctorate from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government who have completed "Internship" and obtain registration from the Council of Tanganyika Doctors (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. To perform all medical work in the hospital related to Various diseases including children's diseases, diseases of mothers and routine and emergency surgeries.
ii. Providing and managing health education as well as improving health community in the District and Region or his work area.
iii. Investigating, monitoring and preventing disease outbreaks.
iv. Maintaining statistics and using them as directed in the guidelines of PERSON.
v. Planning and evaluating health services in his workplace
vi. To teach students and employees present at the workplace.
vii. Supervise and direct the employees under him.
viii. To teach students in health Colleges located in his area work.
ix. Design and conduct research and disseminate results.
x. Designing and preparing strategies to improve the quality of field service his.
xi. Prepare plans and budget estimates for health services.
xii. Sharing, reviewing and improving health services “Medical audit and quality improvement".
xiii. To provide "Outreach" services in his District/Region.
xiv. To do other work assigned by his Head of work.
