JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervising the construction and repair of weather stations and stations for measuring the quantity of water in rivers, dams and lakes;
• Conducting data verification (validation activities) during data processing;
• To prepare plans and other diagrams of observation networks (observation networks) of hydrology and meteorology;
• Preparing plans, designing, managing construction activities in observation centers (observation networks);
• Managing the hydrological investigation of the relationship between water depth and water quantity (stage - discharge observations);
• Making maps of water catchments in water basins using the Geographical Information System (GIS);
• To prepare maps that show areas affected by floods in the valleys and participate in giving advice on precautions;
• Reviewing the quality of all hydrological and meteorological data;
• Coordinating and conducting a preliminary investigation of activities related to hydrological stations; and
• To do other work assigned by his superior.

Qualification and Experience
• He should have a Fourth Form (Form IV) or Sixth (Form VI) education who has completed a first degree in Hydrology or Water Resources Engineering from a college recognized by the Government and has computer skills.
