JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To inspect Marine Vessels for corrective Maintenances;
• To conduct maintenance, service and repairs of Marine Vessel;
• To manage the operation of propulsion plant machinery;
• To plan and schedule ferry operations;
• To detect and identify the cause of machinery malfunctions and correct faults;
• To maintain safety and security of Marine Vessel, crew and passengers and the operational condition of life-saving, fire-fighting and other safety system;
• To ensure that the engine and the engine components are in good condition and ready to run; and
• To perform any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Marine engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. The candidate must be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer.
