JOB DETAILS:
Gaini Company Limited (GCL) is among the leading Building Material and Hardware items sellers in Lake Zone, Dodoma and Dar Es Salaam regions. The company is now expanding to Southern Highlands and Northern Zone and eyes to be the most preferred building materials and hardware sellers in Tanzania.

GCL is looking for Two (2) energetic focused and talented Procurement Officers to join the procurement department team in Mwanza and Dar Es Salaam Offices.

Employment Condition: Full Time

Requirements:
• Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.

Job Description:
• Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
• Preparing plans for the purchase of products, services, and supplies.
• Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualities, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analysis, and reports.
• Any duty that might be assigned by company to under carry.
