JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducting livestock disease investigations for breeders in their area.
• In collaboration with health inspectors, he will inspect the meat and cleanliness of slaughterhouses regularly.
• To collect data on meat and livestock products such as leather and write a report.
• Coordinating livestock diseases under the supervision of a Veterinarian and advising breeders on how to protect livestock against diseases.
• Visiting the breeders regularly and giving them eloquent professional advice in his work area.
• To collect all the statistics of livestock development in his area.
• To advise and manage the construction of sheds, slaughterhouses, hangers and technical structures related to better animal husbandry.
• Supervising the mixing of antiperspirants.
• To be involved in the transfer and production of livestock in general.
• To advise breeders on the best methods of milk production and calf care and
• To do other tasks in his field as assigned by his superior.

Qualification and Experience
• Employment of graduates of Form IV or VI with Diploma (Diploma NTA Level 6) in one of the following fields:- Livestock Production; Dairy and Poultry Production; Livestock Health and Production or Meat Inspection from the Colleges of the Veterinary Training Agency or from another college recognized by the Government.
