JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• To carry out mineral exploration including geological mapping, rock chip sampling, geo-chemical and geo-physical surveys.
• To undertake exploration drilling activities including logging of Rotary Air Blasting (RAB), Reverse circulation (RC), diamond drilling and geotechnical drilling.
• To review, analyze available geological exploration information and advises on mineral potential areas for license acquisition by STAMICO.
• To visit identified areas to further exploration works.
• To develop individual objectives or targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate supervisor and
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification and Experience
Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Geology or Geo-science from recognized institution and must be computer literate. Knowledge in 2D and 3D mining packages will be added advantage.
