JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing the planting and maintenance of trees and forests;
• Supervising the development of less than 5,000 hectares or natural forests less than 10,000 hectares;
• Conducting forest research;
• Implementing Forestry Policies and Laws;
• Conducting Forest Assistant Training;
• Collecting forest data;
• Conducting forest inspections;
• Planing and measuring wooden bridges;
• Resigning licenses and deforestation;
• Provide advice and training to the public on the development and sustainable use of trees and forests for citizens;
• Conducting forest resource estimates; and
• Properizing areas and mapping forests.

Qualification and Experience
• Employed with a Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Forestry from Sokoine Agricultural University or other Government Recognized Universities.
