Job Summary:
E&N HR Heroes Consultancy, on behalf of our client, is seeking four dedicated and qualified Mathematics and Physics Teachers to join a reputable academic institution in Dar es Salaam. The ideal candidates will possess strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to inspire and guide students at the secondary school level.
Job Specifications:
Education & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (BAEd)
- Specialization in Mathematics and Physics
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at secondary school level (A-Level and O-Level)
- Proven experience in preparing students for NECTA examinations
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Ability to use modern teaching aids
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Professional, ethical, and dependable
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons according to the national curriculum
- Conduct assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
- Prepare students for internal and external exams (NECTA, etc.)
- Support and mentor students in both academic and personal development
- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration for academic planning and improvement
