JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide extension services to Fishermen including the proper use of fishing gear.
• Collect data and maintain fishing records and reporting.
• Provide advice to fisheries resource management groups.
• Verify registration of vessels and use of fishing gear and reporting;
• Inspect fishing licenses based on location;
• Organize and supervise extension training in practical fishing;
• Conducting patrols in its area;
• Participate in Research activities; and
• To perform such other functions as may be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor.

Qualification and Experience
• Recruitment of Form IV or VI graduates who have received Fisheries training and diploma in Fisheries Diploma (NTA Level 5) from the Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or from any Government recognized college.
