Job summary:
General Duties:
Providing HIV and AIDS services including counseling and HIV testing for

The goal is to attract new customers, Connect new customers to preventive services, treatment
and care. Monitoring of access to customer service and counseling on compliance continuous supply of drugs and related tests, especially testing of HIV levels for the participants who use ARVs.

Specific Duties/Tasks:
• Better filling of follow-up materials for clients attending the clinic (Appointment register) and an electronic database to identify customers those who do not attend the clinic on time (MISAP) or who are lost (LTFU)
• Using information from client record keeping systems to identify and analyze lost customer portfolios (MISAP/LTFU)
• Follow up, find lost customers using various methods including telephone or customer follow-up at home.
• Recording and reporting the results of customer cancellations.
• Monitoring of customers (children and adolescents) in various unit’s services and care and increase in services that are lost.
• Provide local and regional referral services to facilitate access to services sustainable
• Monitoring and reporting of deaths caused by HIV and AIDS
• To provide education about HIV and AIDS, to conduct a preliminary examination for the purpose of to identify people with the qualifications to be tested for HIV (Screening for eligibility criteria for HTS) for patients attending a medical center.
• Provide quality HIV counseling and testing services to clients and patients with six who attend center a in the community coconut (Optimized PITC) for comply with relevant guidelines.
• Provide testing services through networks of people with HIV infection such as partners and sexual partners and injecting drug users as well as children born to the mother with HIV infection (Index Testing and Partner Notification Services)
• Providing referral services and connecting clients to preventive services, treatment and care for people with HIV infection (Linkage Case Management)
• Prepare information accurately and submit it on time to the supervisor according to requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
• The applicant must have a fourth or higher education
• He should have a Certificate of training for the provision of health services at the community level (Certificate of Community Based Health Services) or other related degrees from college nationally recognized.
• With additional training related to the provision of health services/HIV and AIDS they will be given priority.
• Have the ability and experience to provide HIV counseling and testing, provision of services ARV treatment as well as customer follow-up related to medication adherence and tests relevant including the search for lost customers.
• Have an understanding of the system of the Ministry of Health, Social Development, Gender, Elderly and Children and the way you work, the ability to use guidelines and tools used in the provision of HIV and AIDS services.
• Ability to speak, read and write English and Kiswahili fluently.
• The ability to keep the secrets of clients/patients and all the information available in the systems customer/patient information.
• The ability to provide services to all people without stigma or discrimination
• Be a person who is accepted by people at the center and community level
