Invitation for Application to Various Academic Posts at Mwanza University

Mwanza University (MzU) is a newly established private University, located at Mbugani Street, Kishili Ward. Mwanza, with provisional license No. 20210630-01.

MzU has started to enroll students for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme in the academic year 2023/2024 and intends to start new programmes, including Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science; Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Rehabilitation; Bachelor of Science in Health Insurance and Health Records Management; Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Health Systems Management; and Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management and Medical Tourism, from academic year 2024/2025 upon accreditation of the programmes by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

We therefore invite interested candidates to apply for the posts of Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer as indicated here under, and meeting the following minimum requirements:

2. Holders of PhD in Global Public Health, PhD in Nursing, PhD in Public Health; PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatics or related fields (Lecturers) 4 positions.

3. Holders of MMed Paediatrics & Child Health (05 positions); MMed Obstetrics & Gynaecology (05 positions); MMed Internal Medicine (05 positions); MMed General Surgery (05 positions); MMed Anaesthesiology (05 positions); MMed ENT (05 positions); MMed Ophthalmology (05 positions); MMed Radiology & Imaging (05 positions) and MMed Orthopaedics and Traumatology (05 positions).
